Description
I named this piece Ægir’s Current after the ancient Norse king of the ocean, a powerful deity who ruled over the deep tides, stormy seas, and unpredictable waves. Consequently, the vivid colour of these blue apatite beads perfectly capture the moody essence of the northern seas, shifting from deep teal to rich oceanic blue, just like water moving under a dark sky. The stones didn’t need much interpretation, they instantly conjure the feeling of looking down into a vast, powerful abyss.
I handcraft each wire-wrapped gemstone bracelet from my home right here in New Zealand. Because every single apatite bead carries its own natural variations, internal fractures, and unique depth of color, this piece of crystal jewellery remains completely one of a kind. Therefore, you will receive a unique statement treasure that nobody else can ever own or replicate.
