Description
Named after Lærkelunden, a Danish coastal campsite meaning “grove of larks”, this felt like the perfect name for the earthy ocean tones within this Ocean Jasper pendant, complete with a pale natural vein resembling a waterfall through forest stone.
Stone: Ocean Jasper
Wire: Oxidised copper
About Ocean Jasper
- It forms exclusively along one coastline in Madagascar and can only be harvested when the tide pulls back far enough to expose the rock face, making it genuinely rare rather than just marketed that way.
- The circular orb patterns are created by mineral-rich fluids crystallising inside ancient volcanic rock, which means every single piece looks completely different.
- Many of the original veins have now been depleted, so what exists is what exists.
