Description

I named this piece Bestla after the ancient giantess mother of Odin and ancestor of the Norse gods. Consequently, this design draws on deep, ancient lineage and grounded strength. At its centre sits a solid, opaque red jasper in rich terracotta tones, beautifully framed to honour the maternal foundation of the cosmos.

In addition, the dark oxidised copper wirework features a hand-woven central spiral winding through the frame. This means the intricate design beautifully echoes the continuity of bloodlines passed down through generations. But it also provides a heavy, stabilising presence that feels incredibly comforting to wear during times of change.
