I named this piece Breiðablik after the celestial hall of Baldr, the Norse god of light. This pure place allowed nothing unclean to enter it. Consequently, the clear, bright iris quartz carries that exact same radiant quality. It remains completely unbothered by darkness.

In addition, the dark oxidised copper wire wrapping provides a striking contrast against the clear crystal. This means the bright internal flash catches the light beautifully and feels incredibly alive. But it also gives you a clean grounding tool without feeling heavy.

I handcraft each wire-wrapped gemstone pendant from my home right here in New Zealand.
