Description

I named this piece Hvítviðr, which translates to “White Tree” or “White Wood” in Old Norse. Consequently, this pendant brings the spirit of sacred, ancient winter groves to life. The natural solar quartz serves as a frosty, glowing background that perfectly captures the essence of a frozen landscape.

In addition, I have hand-sculpted a detailed tree of life directly onto the surface of the stone using wire. This means the dark, intricate oxidised copper branches contrast starkly against the luminous white and clear crystal core. But it also creates a powerful, grounding talisman that feels like a relic pulled straight from a mystical forest.

I handcraft each wire-wrapped gemstone pendant from my home right here in New Zealand. Because every single crystal slice carries its own organic stalactite formations, this piece of crystal jewellery remains completely one of a kind.
