Description

I named these earrings Rökkr after the Norse word for twilight and shadow, because lepidolite carries that same quiet, in-between feeling. It is not a loud stone. Instead, it sits with you in the dim hours, soft and a little strange, the way dusk feels before full dark arrives. The bare copper wire felt right for this piece too, warm and earthy against the cool lilac of the stone.

I handmade these earrings from my home in New Zealand using natural lepidolite beads and bare copper wire. Because they are one of a kind, the exact colour and patterning of your beads will be unique to your pair. That variation is part of what makes each piece its own.
