Description
Named after Loki’s devoted wife who stood beside him even in his punishment, Sigyn is a figure defined by quiet loyalty and endurance. Trapiche amethyst suits her well. Its natural spoke-like patterning looks like something deliberately placed, almost like a crown growing from within the stone itself, which feels right for someone who held her ground in the dark.
Stone: Trapiche Amethyst
Wire: Oxidised Copper
About Trapiche Amethyst
- Trapiche amethyst forms with six radiating dark spokes extending from the centre, created by carbon or other mineral inclusions during growth, making each stone completely unique.
- The deep purple colour comes from iron impurities within the quartz, and the oxidized copper wire echoes that darkness rather than competing with it.
- Trapiche patterning is rare even among amethysts, and most collectors never encounter a genuine specimen in person.
